Congratulations again on securing your It’s Not So Bad MFTs!
We appreciate that this might be the first time many of you have participated in an Opulous MFT, so we would like to help guide you through the KYC process of our partner, Securitize. This is a step every member must go through for ultimate safety and compliance with U.S. regulations.
As we continue to grow, we remain dedicated to helping those new to our community or those who simply want to have their facts straight. To learn how to complete the KYC process and claim your MFTs, take a look at the following step-by-step guide.
We will also begin issuing artwork NFT perks after 20% of members have opted in and registered for their MFTs. This is because we need to know your wallet address before we start issuing and sending them through!
STEP 1: Visit the Opulous Dashboard
Click here to visit the Opulous Dashboard on Securitize and begin your registration process.
If you already have an account with securitize, you can log in and skip the verification.
STEP 2: Create your account
Submit all key information into the fields to create your account. Make sure you use the same email address on your WeFunder account when you participated in the It’s Not So Bad MFT. When you have completed these steps, press ‘Accept and Continue’
STEP 3: Verify your email
Click “Verify My email”
You will receive an email asking you to verify your email address. Make sure you click the ’Verify My Email’ link to complete your registration. You will then be redirected to Securitize where you should click ‘Allow’.
If your link expires, please repeat the previous steps.
STEP 4: Start KYC
Once you’re redirected to the Opulous Dashboard, click “Update KYC” to go through KYC. This step is essential — without it, you won’t be able to receive your MFTs from Opulous.
TIP: You can enable Two Factor Verification (“2FA”). Though it’s not required, we recommend it as an additional level of security. Click here for more information.
STEP 5: Enter details
Fill out the required information in the “Investor details” section:
- Select “Individual” If you are opening an individual investment account.
- Select “Entity” if you are opening an account in the name of a legal entity.
Please provide all required information to prevent any delays from becoming verified.
STEP 6: Enter proof of ID
Please upload your current Proof of Identification, which will vary depending on the jurisdiction.

Accepted Proof of Identification per Jurisdiction:
- United States: Passport, Driver’s License [Front and Back], State ID [Front and Back]
- European Union: Passport, National ID [Front and Back]
- Worldwide (not US or EU): Passport Only
Next, please complete your liveness check.
Steps to Completing a Successful Liveness Check:
- Before you start the liveness verification, make sure there is ample lighting.
- Once you are ready, click “I’M READY.”
- If prompted by your browser, allow access to your camera.
- Follow the instructions on the screen: position your face in the frame and move your head in a circle.
- Success! To complete the check, click “Next.”
STEP 7: Submit information
To verify your identity, you will be prompted to provide the following required information:
- Residential address, please note PO Boxes are not accepted
- Country of birth
- City of birth
- Tax jurisdiction
- Tax ID number
STEP 8: Verification review and approval
Your account will be reviewed after supplying your Proof of Identity, completing the Liveness Check, and providing the required personal information.
If everything is correct, you will receive an email confirmation stating your KYC is verified within five minutes. Businesses and entities may require up to 48 hours for verification.
STEP 9: Claim your MFTs!
Next, at the bottom of your Securitize homepage, you’ll be able to click on the “Kyle Opt-in” button, which will redirect you to the Opulous dashboard to connect your wallet. From there, you can apply to claim your tokens. Make sure you enter and complete the following steps:
Once most of our buyers have completed their KYC process and opt-ins, Securitize will start issuing the MFTs to wallets on a rolling basis once weekly. Don’t forget that we’ll be sending out artwork NFTs once 20% of participators have registered for their MFTs. We’ll reach out to you when it’s time to begin the distribution process!
