Opulous partners with ChainPort to bridge the OPUL token to BSC

The OPUL token from Opulous is created on two chains: Algorand and Ethereum. This means that it has been released as two token types: as ASA and ERC-20. In order for us to expand the reach and use cases of $OPUL, we have partnered with ChainPort.

ChainPort offers a service to bridge between blockchains. It’s one of the fastest and easiest to use in this space. It currently provides bridges between Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), Polygon, and with more blockchains to be added soon.

With so many blockchains out there, interoperability is considered the most important route for the future. Bridging the token allows us to make OPUL available on many exchanges. The first bridge we have done is to BSC.

PancakeSwap
One of the most popular decentralized exchanges is PancakeSwap. It runs on BSC and the trading fees are considerably cheaper than on an Ethereum DEX such as Uniswap. To make sure our community doesn’t have to overpay in fees to buy OPUL tokens, we deemed it essential to have our token available there.

Free to use
ChainPort is free to use, so they won’t be charging you any fees when you bridge a token. However, you will still have to pay the gas fees the chain itself charges. Always make sure to double check you are bridging the right type of token, before you start the process.
