Opulous partners with LINE
In recent weeks, we published a lot of news regarding the listing of the $OPUL token, staking options and the sale of Lil Pump & Soulja Boy’s Music NFT. Behind the scenes, we have been equally as busy in further developing our platform.
In that regard, we are pleased to announce an important partnership. We will be working with LINE Tech Plus to develop NFT products and expand our reach into the Asian markets.
Who is LINE
LINE Corporation is based in Japan. In 2011 they released their messenger app LINE. It has become the most used one in Japan, Thailand and Taiwan. The app has over 188 million users.
Much like China’s WeChat, the LINE platform grew from a chat app into a hub for entertainment, social, banking, news and music streaming. Its streaming service Line Music is one of the key drivers behind Japan’s growing rate of music streaming subscribers.
Recently, LINE BITMAX Wallet launched an NFT market in Japan, where users can manage and trade digital assets and NFT products.
In March 2021, LINE joined the Z Holdings Group. This is a joint venture between SoftBank and Naver Corporation and one of the largest internet service groups in Japan.
Expanding the NFT Market
This strategic partnership with LINE is focused on developing NFT products. We will be discussing possibilities of integrating our Music NFTs with LINE’s NFT Market. In addition, LINE Tech Plus will support us in developing blockchain services based on the LINE Blockchain Developers platform.
“We look forward to providing interesting NFT products to music lovers everywhere, utilizing our blockchain technology along with Opulous’ Music NFT services.” said Woosuk Kim, CEO of LINE Tech Plus.
The first results of this cooperation with LINE are expected to be released next year. We will be updating you accordingly. To stay up to date with all Opulous developments, please give our socials a follow.
